Description
Vintage Japanese traditional porcelain tea set with tea pot and 6 tea cups. Each tea cup measures approximately 3.25″ tall, 2.25″ in diameter and holds 4 oz. The tea pot is approximately 5″ tall (6″ at the top of the pot where the handle attaches), 4.5″ in diameter (excluding spout), and holds 4 cups of tea. The base glaze is a very pale, beautifully crackled celadon. It is intricately decorated with geometric patterns and script in raw sienna, navy, white, black, lavender, and gold. Gold trim is used generously throughout the cups’ and pot’s design. Please see pics to appreciate the fine details. Made in Japan.
